1. Administrative part

The "Heritage" foundation was registered on the 8th of February 2006 in the city of Plovdiv as an association for the realization of socially useful activities. On the 31st of March 2006 the foundation entered in the Register of the Ministry of justice of the Bulgarian Republic (certificate Nr.11). On the 9th of July 2006 the Ministry of culture gave to the "Heritage" foundation Certificate Nr.1 and it entered the Register as the first organization supporting culture, according to the Law of patronage.

The following financial resources have entered the foundation during 2006:
- personal funds for the foundation's activities
- resources from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bulgaria for a project for a happening-concert "Let's break the silence - let's break the wall", which will be realized in 2007.
- resources from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bulgaria for a project for the participation of a German rock-group in the Honky Tonk festival of clubs and live music on the 17th of Mai 2007 in the city of Plovdiv.

2. Activities concerning the cultural and historical heritage
- Construction of the "Berlin Wall" monument in the city of Sofia

The "Heritage" foundation is the main initiator of the construction of the monument "The Berlin wall" which was officially opened on the 19th of July 2006 in Sofia. The monument is in the garden in front of the National Palace of culture and contains an original segment of the Berlin Wall which was destroyed in 1990 and which symbolized, during decades, the Cold war and divided Europe.

Town hall of Sofia and the "Heritage" foundation persuaded through intensive communication the mayor of Berlin, Mr. Klaus Wowereit, to embrace the idea to offer to the city of Sofia a segment of the Berlin wall which would be used for the construction of a monument. The segment was transported to Sofia in April 2006. Such a historical monument in the capital of Bulgaria is a "symbol of united Europe and proof that Bulgarian people are free"; this text is written on the donation certificate and on the monument itself.
The "Heritage" foundation initiated and realized this project collaborating with WAZ and the kind assistance of the forwarding agency "Militzer & Munch".

- The "Heritage" foundation raised the flag of Plovdiv on the Sahat tepe..
On the 6th of September - day of Plovdiv and a national holiday, "Heritage" offered to the city a flag with its emblem.
